I'm assuming you would have to talk to compuXP about this because its not as simple as getting the hosting, then changing the nameservers. The nameservers are fake, and therefore if you put in a 'real' life Nameserver then you will get nothing. But as I said, compuXP is the owner here, so you will have to talk to him about hosting.

Bah, a simple META redirect'll work fine... Ultimately, though, it won't go STRAIGHT to your own servers, has to be redirected.

Hmm... I guess you're right. For now, I really can't allow people to offer hosting other than the official eRudNet hosting - once the simulation is out of beta and eRudNet is well used, and I am able to afford what eRudNet is doing, THEN you may be able to.

That's not really realistic compuXP, you cant expect people not to use outside hosting. If it's done out of sight, how can you tell if an outside page is hosted by the owner, or paid for and hosted by another? It's not something you can police.

I think he means selling hosting from outside vDN. If you use a hosting service for your own developed domains that would be one thing, but when your selling your hosting to other members of vDN thats where the problem is.

Jakey are you talking about the domain selling and becoming a registrar?Because nothing was even mentioned in this thread, so why even talk about it in here?
