why dont you just host the forums somewhere else and use an iframe to show them in your vDomain?

its as easy as this:
Code:
<iframe frameborder = 0 width = 100% height = 100% src = "The Location Of Your Forum" />

Hm, sorry for the late reply.

A little later than I expected... eRudNet, the webhost that was GOING to host us, bailed out and so .... I'm saving up for a reseller hosting account and will try to configure the site accordingly.
